We intend to address unsustainable packaging by re-inventing the base material from upcycled waste streams, reducing raw material inputs by up to 70%. Our materials will be designed to either be fully recyclable or fully biodegradable. The more reuse we can achieve, the less raw resources are consumed.
Upcyx is currently seeking capital investment over the next two years to support the establishment of a pulp and paper mill and a bio-composite manufacturing subsidiary that will produce paper and packaging products from a blend of hemp fibre and recycled waste consumer pulp.
